HL Leonard Model 38H Bamboo Rod 6'10" 2/2 #4 Gary Siemer The grip has been cleanedFor sale here is a special one of a kind H. L. Leonard Model 38H bamboo rod from the 1980s. The rod is in excellent original condition showing only light wear. The rod was intended to be 7' though there was a measuring mistake at the Leonard factory and it ended up being 6'10". Not wanting to reject the rod for this issue only, an appropriate tube and bag were made. The rod was sold by William Mills as a "Special" 38H. A letter of provenance from Ted
