Bogdan Unique and Early Prototype Salmon Fly Reel 10' Please note that the keeperFor sale here is a very historically important fishing reel. One of Stanley Bogdan's early prototype salmon reels. Single action (no multiplier). Right hand retrieve. Likely made in the late 1940's or early 1950s. The reel is in excellently preserved condition. No structural issues exist, just some slight spool rub while winding. The frame is made of aluminum and potentially includes an early attempt at anodization. The sideplates are made of ebonite
