Wellington Dam is the largest dam in the Southwest of the state and was built to supply the Collie River irrigation district. Today the Dam wall showcases a giant 8000 square metre mural which was painted by artist Guido Van Helten over a period of approximately four months. The mural depicts people that have been involved in and around the dam and the Collie region. The mural has to be seen in person
