A finely cast gilt bronze (ormolu) circular jewelry casket with pierced scrollwork, beaded trim, domed glass lid, and original tufted silk cushion interior. The lid features a central framed glass reserve inset with an embroidered textile medallion. These textile medallions were often included to give the piece a more personal touch.
