Serial #71870 made in 1973. The rod is in excellent condition. All wraps are sound. Both sections are straight and full length. Chestnut brown silks and extremely dark chocolate colored tempered cane give this rod a striking appearance. Aluminum down locking reel seat over Walnut. Cigar grip with skinny nose characteristic of shorter Orvis rods.
