Description

This prototype card was created to pitch the Pokmon TCG to Western publishers and was never released to the public

One of the reasons Magic: The Gathering holds its position as one of the best card games ever developed is due to its ability to take the lore of a thing and represent it through card mechanics that mirror that lore

At this point, some cards had images of characters from popular novels

Calling Your Attacks: "Hope Sword Slash!" / "Rising Sun Slash!" Also available in card form
