Exploding onto the jazz scene and moving from fiery jazz jigs, introspective ballads, and folk inspired themes, this innovative duo features Shetland born alto saxophonist Norman Willmore and Glasgow born drummer Corrie Dick. They meld traditional Shetland folk with the urgency of contemporary jazz, conjuring a sound that is both ancient and startlingly new.
