and most definitely it was made quite some time ago with a great deal of care--the wire stitching alone on this piece is quite a spectacular thing: carefully braided along one edge of the bristles

8 1/2" x 11" and in very good condition with a few small stains and smudges

and the spirit of it is definitely supportive of creative thinking and doing

I'm not sure if he was meant to represent a president I'm not recognizing, or a bureaucrat, or who, but he definitely has an officialness about him! Carved of pine. 3 3 4" t x 1 3 4" w x 2" d and in good condition with a great patina; there is a scatter of little surface marks on one short side as documented.
