This beautiful pair of antique side chairs can be attributed to the North West of England, they are typical of turned chairs from the region and contain no square sawn parts. The turned uprights are generous in proportion and of simple straight form, as are the stretchers and spindles. This 'chubbiness' gives a homely, country appeal to this pair of antique
