Rod could use a polishing. The ferrules fit together tightly as they should and "pop" when pulled apart. The ferrule size is 17 64. The tips have very slight sets which can easily be removes and in no way effects fishability. The rod has a medium fast action. Serial no. 20350. Rod was built in July of 2002.
