The back of the bust bears all necessary marks namely Auguste Henri Carli's signature

Both bon bon dishes are in an excellent condition with clear hallmarks

The stand would have originally had a turning mechanism for heightening and lowering which is no longer present

The gilt detailing to the spine has faded but the title band containing the title in gilt is still nice and bright

The two plank seat and arms both sit above bobbin supports. The three plank back sits on braces with removable pegs which operate as a mechanism for the back to be tilted forward, turning the chair into a table. There are three peg holes in each arm for the table to be adjusted if needed. There is a small loss to the wood on one of the braces but this is purely aesthetic and does not
