7 3/4" x 5 1/4" and in good  condition

I'll give that teacher great credit for leading their students in the exercise of relief carving silhouettes and painting/staining them black and white--in direct conversation with the hollow cut silhouette of a hundred years prior

making its crafty over-the -topness feel quite nodding and knowing

and the other KO--whether a first name or a last name or initials I don't know

Another permutation on postal stamp art I believe: looks to me like the George Washington silhouettes and all of the rest of the tiny cut paper bits were cut from stamps and envelopes, with cancellation marks showing here and there. Oh, the creative resourcefulness of yore, nothing going to waste. Wonderfully graphic against the black milk glass plate. With original (once surely brighter) pink ribbon
