Pre WWII vintage. Fixed check, nice and adequately tight mechanically. The winding plate features the Holdfast logo and maker info. The serial number is stamped on the reel foot. No line grooves to the bowtie pillars. Unaltered smooth brass reel foot. Original spool screw is in fine condition. Matching "2" stamp on each part of the reel. The
