Very faintly at top center, framed on all sides by these exuberant decorative flourishes, is written the name Wm. Brady followed by the year 1896, telling us that it was her father that drew this (which I've confirmed through research; they lived in Sugarcreek Ohio) and that three years later he was still celebrating her birth and or maybe it
