Payne Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #5 7' Serial #4380A nice EF Payne fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 2 tips, built for what feels like a #5 line. 4. 4 ounces. Nice medium fast DF action. Likely a 103 model. Used but excellent original condition, circa 1950's with the "sold by Abercrombie and Fitch, New York" roller stamp. The varnish is in very good original condition with a few very minor scratches from hooks. Faint beginnings of casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. The oxidation on the ferrules is 98% original.
