Old Jointed Folk Art Dancing Monkey inuit loon I especially love the “o”s

I especially love the “o”s inside of “o”s

seeming like the sort to hover around until last call delivering corny pick up lines

The puppet is made of water buffalo hide

Old Jointed Folk Art Dancing Monkey inuit loon I especially love the “o”sA curious old jointed monkey, with graphite drawn face and details, and a hole for a dowel at the center of its back, via which it would and could be held aloft and set to dancing. Happily, it is limber at its joints, so easy to position sitting upright, or leaning back on its elbows, or doing a split! Nice age to it, earlyish 20th century I believe, all original with a nice dry wood patina. 10 1 2" t x 4 1 2" widest and in good condition.
