Hawes 9' 3/2 #5 Bamboo Rod HL Leonard Beautiful pumpkin-toned cane with bronzeFor sale here is a Hawes 9' bamboo fly rod. The rod is in very good original condition and casts a 5wt line nicely. Over time the varnish has suffered from heat and gravity. There are areas of alligatoring, sagging, and minor bag burn. The varnish is not soft and much of the damage could possibly be polished out. All sections are full length and straight. Classic browntone tempered cane. The wraps are an interesting red color with a deep coppery hue.
