Initially matured in oak then interestingly finished in casks made out of Japanese cherry blossom wood named Sakura

This cask strength 13 year old was matured in refill American oak casks and finished in high char Port-seasoned casks

The distillery shares a site with its more well know sister distillery Balvenie. This limited edition whisky was originally released for the Travel Retail market. Matured in 80% American Oak and 20% sherry casks. A great meaty whisky with buttery vanilla and slightly spicy notes.
