Executed in a Japanese-influenced art nouveau style

they remind me think a bit of Constructivist sculpture and even more so of the costumes in Oskar Schlemmer's Bauhaus Triadisches Ballett (Triadic Ballet)

but much of this has faded from the top surface of the wood

I Sometimes I find these glazes a bit much

The cast iron shoe form piece measures just shy of 3 inches long, so seems small even for a baby shoe, so perhaps it was used by a doll maker, though why the tread on the bottom I'm not sure either; perhaps it was all about making tracks? In any event. with this wonderfully aged old wood "leg", I think it's a pretty cool object, and a nice and heavy one, which perhaps
