Shock Absorber Type 641 Competition Preload Adjuster:Hook Wrench and Preload Adjustable Fork CapsThe standard fork is fitted with very soft springs. The Wilbers solution replaces these with slightly stiffer, progressive springs for improved feedback, comfort, and handling. The rear shocks spring rate has also been optimized using a slightly firmer spring along with improved rebound and compression damping for greater control. The suspension geometry on both the front and rear axles has been sensibly refined through adjustments to the negative
