I think this five drawer chest with its clean lines and great proportions is terrific looking and also super useful--taking up little space on a table or counter but providing a lot of space to stash things in

20" l x 1 1/4" w and in excellent condition

spelling "soleil" at left (wonderfully divided across two lines as if an afterthought

Sweet and Self-Reflexive Old Match Covered Match Box vintage Mexican folk art armadillo I think this five drawerOf course an old match box should be encased in matches, each one burned black before being carefully laid down alongside the one before it. To my eye quite a satisfying thing formally, and even better self reflexive I'l like to think it was the matches from this very Red & White Brand match box that were used to make it, yielding the empty box! 5 1 8" x 3" x 1 3 4". Very good condition. C. 1940s or so, I believe.
