and two of the original three pins remain in tact to lock it in place when folded up

I'd guess made of cigar box wood or similarly salvaged bits, and very sweet. 3 1 4" t x 1 11 16" w x 1 9 16" d and in good, sound conditioning, with some darkening fading to the wallpaper but minimal
